The SDC AUTO Series Architectural Automatic Door Opener is a commercial low-energy swing door operator designed for applications requiring ADA accessibility, automatic pedestrian access and user convenience. The operator combines a state-of-the-art microprocessor-based control system with a quiet belt-driven mechanical design for dependable operation in commercial and institutional entrances.
The SDC AUTO Series is self-tuning, self-learning and nonhanded, providing installation flexibility for push/outswing and pull/inswing commercial doors. Full mechanical stops and multiple interface options allow the operator to work with compatible sensors, push plates, fire alarm systems and electrified locking hardware.
Unlike conventional direct-drive designs, the SDC operator utilizes a belt-driven combination of gears and pulleys. This design requires less torque and power, helps absorb abuse and provides exceptionally quiet automatic door operation.

A compatible knowing-act activation device, such as a handicap push button, wireless push plate or touchless actuator, can signal the operator to begin the automatic opening cycle. Opening speed, closing speed and hold-open time can be adjusted for the requirements of the entrance.
Appropriate automatic door signage is included with the operator.
