Norton 5800 Series Automatic Door Opener
The Norton 5600 Series Low Energy Automatic Door Operator was discontinued effective August 1, 2023. With the operator and its major replacement components now discontinued, Automatic Door and Hardware generally recommends replacing the complete 5600 operator rather than continuing to invest in individual replacement parts for an obsolete system.
If your Norton 5600 needs a controller, motor, power supply, drive components or other major repair parts, consider upgrading the complete operator to the Maverick HA8LP Low Profile Automatic Door Opener.
Rather than continuing to replace individual components on an aging Norton 5600, the Maverick HA8LP provides a modern low-profile replacement option at a competitive price.
The original Norton 5600 was approximately 3-15/16" tall. The Maverick HA8LP is only 4-1/8" tall – a difference of just 3/16" – making it an excellent low-profile option for many Norton 5600 replacement applications.
