Maverick HA8SP Technical Specifications

Wireless Handicap Door Activation

This package includes two handicap push buttons, providing automatic activation capability from both sides of the storefront entrance.

Each handicap push button uses a compatible 433 MHz wireless transmitter. When either button is pressed, the transmitter sends an activation signal to the included receiver connected to the Maverick HA8SP.

The receiver then signals the HA8SP to begin the automatic opening cycle.

Push or Pull Side Installation

The Maverick HA8SP can be configured for either push-side or pull-side storefront door applications.

Push-side configurations accommodate reveals from approximately 0 to 14 inches, while pull-side configurations accommodate reveals up to approximately 4 inches.

Correct door handing and mounting configuration should be selected when ordering.

What About the Existing Storefront Lock?

The correct automatic door configuration depends on the hardware already installed on your storefront door.

If your existing door has no mechanical latch, the HA8SP may be able to operate the door directly without adding electric locking hardware.

If your storefront door has a mechanical lock, panic device or other latching hardware, that hardware must be properly released before the automatic operator begins opening the door.

Depending on the existing hardware and application, a compatible electric strike, electrified locking device or other automatic release solution may be required.

Electric locking hardware is not included with this standard storefront HA8SP package unless specifically stated otherwise.

Ready for Access Control Integration

The Maverick HA8SP includes an integrated electric lock interface that provides flexibility for compatible electric locking and access control applications.

When properly configured with appropriate locking hardware, the locking device can release before the HA8SP begins opening the door.

This allows the same storefront entrance to be integrated into a broader access control system when required.
