The Dor-O-Matic Astro Swing Automatic Door Operator is a heavy-duty commercial swing door operator specifically configured for center-pivot and overhead-concealed automatic door applications. It provides the same proven operating platform and performance characteristics as the Dor-O-Matic Senior Swing, but is supplied with the hardware required for a center-hung door installation.
Instead of the conventional surface-mount arm used with the Senior Swing, the Astro Swing includes a center-hung arm assembly along with a center-hung bottom pivot set. This makes it an ideal choice for commercial entrances where the automatic operator is concealed above the door or where the door is designed around a center-pivot configuration.
The Astro Swing is built for applications where the operator is incorporated into the header or concealed above the opening. The included center-hung arm transfers the operator's movement directly to the door while the included bottom pivot hardware provides the proper pivot arrangement for a center-hung installation.
This configuration is especially useful for commercial storefront entrances, architectural aluminum doors, interior commercial doors, and other applications where a cleaner concealed appearance is preferred over a surface-mounted automatic door operator.

The operator also provides adjustable closing speeds and selectable obstruction detection. Depending on the programming, the operator can be configured to reverse, stop, or slow when an obstruction is detected.
Push-N-Go allows the automatic opening cycle to begin when a user manually begins pushing or pulling the door. Once movement is detected, the operator takes over and automatically completes the opening cycle.
A separate adjustable hold-open timer controls how long the door remains open before beginning the closing cycle.
The Astro Swing features a built-in 10 amp lock relay for integration with common commercial electric locking devices, including electric strikes and other compatible locking hardware.
This allows the automatic operator to coordinate unlocking and door activation when integrated into an access-control system. Onboard accessory power also simplifies the connection of compatible activation and control devices.
