When an activation button is pressed, the electric strikereleases the panic hardware before the Maverick HA8LP begins opening the door.

The package includes two commercial stainless steel wireless handicap activationbuttons, allowing an activation point to be installed on each side of the opening.
Each 4.75" x 4.75" push plate features durable stainless steel construction and ispaired with a wireless 433 MHz transmitter. The transmitters communicate with the includedreceiver connected to the Maverick HA8LP.
The included rim electric strike is what separates this package from abasic automatic door opener kit. It is intended to provide electrically controlled releasefor compatible rim panic hardware so the door can remain latched when it is not beingautomatically operated.
When the HA8LP receives an activation command, its lock-control capability can be used torelease the electric strike as part of the automatic opening sequence. This allows theoperator to begin opening the door after the panic hardware has been released.
Proper compatibility between the electric strike, panic hardware, door frame, electricalrequirements, and desired locking function should always be verified for the specificopening.
