The Ranger HD Medium Stile architectural aluminum storefront entrance systemis designed for installation in interior concrete block and CMU masonry wall openingsused in commercial offices, retail buildings, medical facilities, warehouses, schools, churches, municipal buildings, and other interior commercial applications.
This interior door package includes a 36-inch x 80-inch right-hand doorwith 1/4-inch clear tempered single-pane safety glass. The door features3-1/2-inch vertical stiles, a 3-1/4-inch top rail, and a 10-inch ADA bottom rail for increased rigidity, improved hardware support, and dependable commercial performance.
The door is constructed from heavy-duty 6063 architectural aluminumwith reinforced corner block bracing and welded construction. This provides increased resistance to twisting, flexing, and repeated daily use compared with a standard narrow stile storefront door.
The complete entrance package includes a heavy-duty closed-back aluminum storefront frame, clear tempered safety glass, Grade 1 commercial deadbolt, ADA lock indicator, ADA-compliant hydraulic door closer, heavy-duty top and bottom pivots, solid aluminum pull handle and push bar, full-perimeter pile seals, and a heavy-duty frame-mounted door stop.
Because this package is intended for an interior wall application, it uses 1/4-inch clear tempered single-pane glass and does not require the insulated glass, exterior threshold, bottom sweep, or exterior weatherproofing components commonly used with exterior storefront entrances.

The Ranger HD Medium Stile storefront entrance is designed for interior commercial applications where a standard 2-inch narrow stile door may not provide enough strength for the expected pedestrian traffic, hardware requirements, or operating environment.
The 3-1/2-inch vertical stiles provide additional aluminum around the lock, pivots, closer, and other operating hardware. This creates a stronger and more rigid door assembly that is better suited for frequent use and increased physical abuse.
A 3-1/4-inch top rail provides increased support at the top of the door, while the standard 10-inch ADA bottom rail strengthens the lower portion of the door and provides a smooth lower surface for accessibility applications.
The included heavy-duty closed-back aluminum storefront frame is designed to be installed into a properly prepared interior concrete block or CMU masonry opening. The frame must be anchored using commercial masonry fasteners appropriate for the block construction and project conditions.
The result is a durable architectural aluminum entrance that maintains the clean appearance of a commercial glass storefront while providing increased strength for demanding interior commercial applications.
Interior concrete block and CMU walls are commonly used in commercial buildings because they provide durable separation between offices, warehouses, corridors, mechanical rooms, retail spaces, classrooms, healthcare areas, and other interior building spaces.
For this application, the storefront frame is installed directly into a properly prepared masonry rough opening. The block opening must be structurally sound, square, plumb, level, and capable of supporting the storefront frame, door weight, closer forces, operating loads, and repeated daily use.

The door arrives welded and prepared for the selected hardware. The closed-back aluminum frame ships knocked down and must be assembled and installed at the job site.
The 1/4-inch clear tempered safety glass, glazing vinyl, and glazing components are included. Field installation of the glass may be required depending on shipping configuration and project requirements.
