The older LCN 9530 / 9540 Senior Swing Automatic Door Operator configuration shown on this page is a legacy product configuration. The Senior Swing product line and its control technology have changed over the years.
Newer Senior Swing products may utilize different control technology, including IQ-series controls. These newer systems should not automatically be assumed to be identical to or directly interchangeable with an older Senior Swing installation using the previous control platform.
For customers replacing an older Senior Swing operator, we offer the Maverick Legacy Swing Automatic Door Operator. The Maverick Legacy Swing is offered as a like-in-kind replacement solution for many legacy Senior Swing applications and is available in both push-side and pull-side configurations.
Important: Replacement compatibility depends on the existing installation. Verify door handing, push or pull application, arm configuration, mounting, electrical requirements, existing hardware, and field conditions before ordering.

The LCN 9530 / 9540 Senior Swing Automatic Door Operator is a commercial-grade, ADA-compliant low energy swing door operator designed for single commercial swing doors. The operator provides automatic opening when activated for accessibility while still allowing conventional manual door operation for normal pedestrian traffic.
Two primary arm configurations are available based on the mounting side and swing requirements of the door:

Choose the LCN 9530 for a pull-arm application or the LCN 9540 for a push-arm application. The Senior Swing is a handed operator, so proper door handing and arm configuration must be selected when ordering.
The LCN 9530 / 9540 Senior Swing is designed to function as both an automatic door operator and a conventional manually operated door. When an activation device is used, the operator automatically opens the door to provide barrier-free access.
During normal pedestrian traffic, the door may also be opened manually without requiring automatic activation. This allows a single entrance to provide ADA accessibility while maintaining natural manual door operation for everyday users.
The Push N' Go feature allows the automatic opening cycle to begin when a user starts manually moving the door. This can provide automatic assistance without requiring activation from a separate wall switch or push plate, depending on the system configuration.
The operator also provides a power boost function that can deliver additional force during the final portion of the closing cycle to help overcome latch resistance or building pressure.
The Senior Swing uses an electromechanical operating system with microprocessor control. A built-in digital keypad allows installers to configure and adjust operator performance during installation and service.
Opening speed, closing performance, hold-open time, and other operating parameters can be adjusted through the electronic control system to match the requirements of the specific door and installation.

Opening and closing times are electronically adjustable through the operator control. This allows the system to be configured to meet the requirements of the installation and applicable low energy automatic door standards.
