Commercial Steel Door and Frame, 36 Inch x 84 Inch Security Door With Magnetic Lock and Key Pad Access Control System
When it comes to building security, you need a commercial door that is heavy duty and will prevent break ins. Robbers, thieves, and vandals prey on buildings with lower cost doors. Although commercial glass doors are appealing, a simple breaking of the glass, allows complete access to your building. Wood doors are also a choice, however with a simple axe, a wood door can be chopped apart. There is no better security door than a steel door. Our Gladiator security steel doors are top of the line and include anti-break in features that the competition does not. This includes non-removable pin hinges, so robbers cannot remove the hinges and take the door off of the frame. Also included is hinge reinforcement so the hinges cannot be hammered off of the door. The heavy duty steel door and frame also features lock and strike reinforcement helping to prevent break ins. Additional security hardware is available like latch guards or security astragals. Gladiator security steel doors are the best choice in building security.
A magnetic lock access control system is integrated into the security steel door. It features 2 modes of operation, a normal business hour operation mode, and an after hours secure mode.
Modes Of Operation
Business Hours Operation
In this mode of operation, the system on/off switch is set to the "off" position. The magnetic locks are "off" and in the unlocked position during the day. Pedestrians can enter the door freely, without having to use the key pad for access. *Note that if the steel door has a keyed entry lever handle, this will also need to be unlocked in order for pedestrians to enter the door.
How To Enter: The door is unlocked, pedestrians can pull the door open to enter.
How To Exit: The door is unlocked, pedestrians can push the door open to exit.
After Hours Operation
How To Enter: Pedestrians must have an authorized pin code to gain access. He or she will press the authorized pin code into the key pad. This will automatically unlock the magnetic lock, allowing he or she to use the lever handle. *Note that if the steel door has a keyed entry lever handle, this will also need to be unlocked in order for pedestrians to enter the door.
How To Exit: All pedestrians will exit the building by pushing exit button and activating the overhead sensor, this will deactivate the maglock, allowing the door to be pushed open.
