The GapFix ADA Water Control Door Seal Kit is designed to help reduce water intrusion, air infiltration, dust, insects, and wind-driven rain at commercial storefront entrances while maintaining an ADA compliant threshold. This complete weather sealing system is engineered specifically for 72" wide aluminum storefront door pairs (two 36" doors) and combines overhead rain drips, bottom door sweeps with rain caps, and ADA bumper seal thresholds into one complete solution.
When installed on a properly sloped entrance, these components work together to improve the weather seal around the entire storefront opening while maintaining an accessible threshold that complies with ADA height requirements.
This kit is designed for 72" x 84" commercial storefront aluminum glass door pairs (two 36" wide doors) and helps seal openings with gaps beneath the doors of up to approximately 1". The included door sweeps and ADA bumper thresholds create a compression seal that helps reduce drafts, water intrusion, dirt, insects, and outside air from entering the building.
For best performance, the storefront entrance should be properly installed with positive drainage away from the opening.
This kit includes ADA compliant 1/2" bumper seal thresholds featuring beveled edges that meet accessibility requirements for commercial entrances when installed in accordance with applicable building codes.
