A heavy commercial door can create a significant barrier for wheelchair users and individuals with limited mobility. The Maverick HA8LP provides powered operation of the swing door so users can activate the entrance without having to manually pull or push the door through its full opening cycle.
Pressing either wireless handicap push button sends an activation signal to the HA8LP. The operator automatically opens the door, holds it open for the programmed period, and then allows the door to close in a controlled manner.
This makes the package an excellent solution for commercial buildings that need to improve accessibility while maintaining normal manual door operation for other pedestrian traffic.
This package combines the automatic operator and wireless activation equipment needed to convert a compatible commercial swing door into an automatically operated accessible entrance.
The user presses the wireless handicap push button to request automatic door operation.
