Genuine Yale 3800 Series Automatic Door Opener Parts
The Yale 3800 Series Low Energy Automatic Door Operator is obsolete and no longer in production. With the operator and its major replacement components discontinued, Automatic Door and Hardware generally recommends replacing the complete 3800 operator rather than continuing to invest in individual replacement parts for an obsolete system.
If your Yale 3800 needs a controller, motor, power supply, drive components or other major repair parts, consider upgrading the complete operator to theMaverick HA8LP Low Profile Automatic Door Opener.
Rather than continuing to replace individual components on an aging Yale 3800, theMaverick HA8LP provides a modern low-profile replacement option at a competitive price.
The Maverick HA8LP features a compact 4-1/8" tall low-profile housing, making it an excellent replacement option for many older low-profile automatic swing door applications.
You may be able to keep them. Many existing Yale 3800 installations already have handicap push buttons or other activation devices installed.
When purchasing a Maverick HA8LP from Automatic Door and Hardware, we can help guide you in determining howcompatible existing handicap buttons can be wired to the new HA8LP operator. This may allow you to upgrade the automatic door operator without replacing activation equipment that can still be used.
The original Yale 3800 was designed primarily for interior, non-fire-rated automatic door applications.
The Maverick HA8LP incorporates a built-in mechanical closing spring. If electrical power is lost, the mechanical spring provides closing force to return the door toward the closed position.
The HA8LP can also be used in appropriate fire-rated applications when the complete door, frame, operator, hardware and opening are properly specified and installed. For many Yale 3800 replacement applications, this makes the HA8LP an upgrade rather than simply another replacement operator.
Yes, anyone can purchase from Automatic Door and Hardware.

Gary was very helpful from the first and communicated with me on his on time. He was in touch with me for several days and was very helpful finding the part I needed although I did not have a picture of the part. Gary went way above what was expected in trying to find the part I needed. When we need more parts for our church doors I will definitely call Gary.

If you need help figuring out what to do or how to do it … These people will help you make it happen. In my case it was a hardware issue and I wasn’t sure where to start. After my initial contact and a couple of pictures they were able to solve my issue … and it wasn’t even their product … Wow, these people go above and beyond. Thanks Derek !!!
