The majority of retail buildings and commercial buildings have aluminum storefront glass doors as their main entrance. Included in this kit is 10 HID format access cards. More access cards can be purchased if needed. The access cards are activated allowing them to automatically unlock the electric door lock.

How The Warhawk Motorized Panic Bar and Card Reader Lock Kit Works

The motorized panic bar is mounted to the interior push side of the storefront door. The power supply with controller is installed above or near the storefront door. A door cord is installed on the push side of the door to route power from the panic bar to the power power supply. On the outside of the storefront door, the card reader is installed. All components are wired together following the provided wiring diagram or matrix.

How To Enter

Card Reader Entry: Use an access card and tap the card reader. This will cause the motorized latch inside of the panic bar to automatically pull in, allowing you to pull the door in.

Key Entry: On the outside of the door is a key cylinder. Manually insert the key into the key cylinder to retract the latchbolt, allowing you to open the door.

How To Exit

All pedestrians will exit the building by manually pushing in the panic bar to release the latch, allowing you to exit the building.
