The included pull arm assembly is designed for this Right Hand inswing application, allowing the operator to pull the door open during automatic operation.

This particular Maverick HA8SP is configured for a Right Hand inswing door.
Because the door swings inward toward the operator side of the opening, this configuration uses a pull arm assembly.
When the automatic door is activated, the HA8SP pull arm draws the door inward through its opening cycle.
Door handing and operator arm selection are critical when ordering an automatic swing door operator. Verify that your opening requires a Right Hand pull-side / inswing configuration before ordering this model.
The correct HA8SP arm configuration depends on which side of the door the operator is mounted and the direction the door swings.
A push-side configuration uses an arm assembly that pushes the door away from the operator to open.
This Right Hand pull-side model works differently. The operator is configured so the pull arm pulls the door toward the operator side during opening.
