The push plate or pull handle shown or referenced is not included with this package.

This package is intended for a compatible hollow metal door that already uses non-latching hardware, or where appropriate push/pull hardware will be supplied separately.

Since the door is free to swing, the HA8SP does not need to wait for an electric locking device to release before beginning its opening cycle.

How the Automatic Door System Works

Operation is simple because there is no mechanical latch that must be released.

When a user presses either handicap push button, the 433 MHz transmitter sends a wireless activation signal to the receiver.

The receiver signals the Maverick HA8SP, and the operator begins opening the existing hollow metal door.

After the programmed hold-open time expires, the operator automatically begins the closing cycle.

The package includes two handicap push buttons, allowing automatic activation from both sides of the opening.
