How the Doggable Panic Bar Configuration Works

This package uses a simple operating sequence because an electric lock doesnot have to release before each automatic opening cycle.

1. The compatible panic bar is mechanically dogged down.
2. The panic bar latch remains retracted / unlatched.
3. The user presses either wireless handicap activation button.
4. The wireless transmitter sends the activation signal to the receiver.
5. The receiver signals the Maverick HA8LP automatic door operator.
6. The HA8LP begins its programmed automatic opening cycle.
7. The push arm pushes the storefront door outwardinto the open position.
8. The door remains open for the programmed hold-open period.
9. The operator then allows the door to close under controlled operation.

Because the panic hardware remains dogged / unlatched,no electric unlocking sequence is required for each activation.

Doggable Panic Bar vs. Electric Strike Package

Choosing between the doggable panic bar package and an electric strikepackage depends primarily on how you need the storefront entrance to function.
