This is NOT the Maverick HA8SP wireless handicap push button package.
Handicap push buttons, transmitters, receivers and other activation devices can be selected separately when required for the application.

This particular HA8SP is configured for a Left Hand Reverse (LHR) door using a push-side operator installation.
In this configuration, the Maverick HA8SP is mounted so that the operator arm pushes the door open during automatic operation.

This model features a clear anodized aluminum operator housing, providing the familiar silver aluminum appearance commonly used on commercial storefront, hollow metal and institutional door openings.

Exterior commercial doors can be challenging for an automatic operator because of wind loads, pressure differences and building stack effect.
The Maverick HA8SP incorporates adjustable spring tension, allowing the operator to be tuned for demanding opening conditions.
This makes the HA8SP particularly well suited for applications where a lighter-duty automatic door operator may struggle with the conditions at the opening.
Heavy-duty automatic operation does not mean the door should become difficult to use manually.
The Maverick HA8SP incorporates a one-way mechanical clutch designed to allow easier manual door operation when the automatic operator is not being activated.
Manual opening and closing force can be adjusted from approximately 5 to 30 lbs., depending on the application and setup.
The HA8SP combines heavy-duty mechanical construction with a digital control system designed for commercial automatic door applications.
Because this SKU is the HA8SP operator only, you are not paying for handicap buttons or wireless activation equipment that you may not need.

When properly configured, the locking device can release before the operator begins the automatic opening cycle.
